2021 All-America City Award Winner
The All-America City Award recognizes communities that leverage civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness, and innovation to successfully address local issues. Since 1949, the National Civic League has recognized and celebrated the best in American civic innovation with the prestigious All-America City Award.
The theme for 2021 is "Building Equitable and Resilient Communities." Carlisle's application highlighted the swift work of the Carlisle Community Action Network in responding to COVID-19 issues, the Borough's efforts to address racial equity and justice, and the Climate Action Commission.
