Carlisle Borough Hall will remain closed to the public for April’s Borough Council Meeting. This measure is being taken to comply with Governor Wolf’s Stay at Home orders and to practice proper social distancing. The meeting, which begins Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 PM, will be held using Zoom video conferencing. 

Citizens wishing to participate in the Borough Council Meeting may access Zoom via zoom.com or call into 1-301-715-8592 shortly before 7:00 PM. You will then enter the meeting ID, 421-618-431, and passcode, 025101. Borough citizens may submit questions or comments before the meeting via e-mail to the Borough Secretary, Joyce Stone, at jstone@carlislepa.org. All e-mails must be received by the close of business on April 9.

Zoom meeting participants may provide public comment by sending a message to the host via the chat function. The host will then relay comments or questions, if appropriate, to Borough Council. Residents participating by phone only wishing to engage in public comment during the meeting must contact the Assistant Borough Manager at 717-601-0184 during the meeting.

The Borough will also offer a livestream of the Council meeting via YouTube for interested parties. A link to the stream will be provided on the Borough’s website (www.carlislepa.org/livestream) approximately 15 minutes before the meeting begins. The link will also be shared on the Borough’s social media sites. We encourage those participants who simply want to watch the meeting without participating in public comment to view it on the YouTube stream, rather than calling into the Zoom meeting.The public comments on the YouTube stream will not be monitored during the Council Meeting.
