Reporting Street Light Outages

Working street lights improve safety for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and residents. If you see a street light out in the Borough, here's how to report it.

Cobrahead lights are the street lights affixed to wooden poles. Cobrahead lights are serviced by PPL Electric Utilities.

You can contact PPL directly at 1-800-342-5775 to report an outage. They will need the numbers that are on the silver plate on the pole. We can also call PPL for you and report the light. Give us a call at 717-240-1238 or use the Report An Issue function on our website.

The decorative candlestick lights are located in downtown Carlisle, on Hanover and High Streets.
