Once filled, Borough bags must weigh no more than 40 pounds or they will not be collected. This weight limit is not a new feature of our program; the green bags had the same weight limit on them.

Also, we are aware of the issues some residents have been having with the drawstrings on the bags. Staff has been notifying the manufacturer of these problems. As has been past practice when green borough bags were found deficient, you are encouraged to return any such bags (unused) at Borough Hall or the Stuart Community Center.
