B Street and Fairground Avenue Roundabout Open
This roundabout is part of the TIGER Project Phase of the Carlisle Connectivity Project. The overall project includes improvements to Fairground Avenue north of the railroad tracks and B Street improvements from Carlisle Springs Road north to College Street. In addition to the 3-point roundabout at B and Fairground, the project also includes a 4-point roundabout at B Street and North College Street, a paved, mixed-use trail adjacent to Fairground Avenue, sidewalk, drainage, and sign upgrades, and various streetscape enhancements including improved sidewalks, pavers, decorative lighting, landscaping, stormwater management features, benches, and bike racks.
- Slow down when approaching the roundabout
- Yield to pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles already in the roundabout before entering. Once you are in the roundabout, you do not need to yield.
- Keep to the right. You want to travel the roundabout in a counterclockwise direction.
