Town Hall Meeting

Carlisle Borough Council to Hold Town Hall at Memorial Park

On Monday, October 17, Carlisle Mayor Sean Shultz and Carlisle Borough Council will host a Community Town Hall meeting at Memorial Park, 149 West Penn Street, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, Mayor Shultz and Borough Council held their biennial goal planning session to establish priorities for the subsequent two-year period. One of the goals is to elevate transparency and increase engagement with residents. With that in mind, the Mayor and Borough Council are planning a series of town hall meetings throughout Carlisle

The first Community Town Hall will take place at Memorial Park. At the meeting, residents will be able to meet informally with Mayor Shultz, Borough Council members, and staff to discuss any matter in the community and share their thoughts.

“We recognize that not everyone can participate at a Council meeting at Borough Hall. With these events, we will be meeting people where they live, in their own neighborhoods,” said Mayor Sean Shultz. “We want our residents to talk with us about challenges and opportunities in Carlisle Borough. We were elected to listen and lead.”

The Memorial Park Community Town Hall meeting will take place on Monday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m. at 149 West Penn Street. Free food and drinks will be provided at the event as well.

The Mayor and Borough Council will hold additional town halls at locations throughout Carlisle Borough. Mayor Shultz and Council hope to better engage with residents by meeting them in their own neighborhoods.
