UPDATE, 9/18/2023: Microsurfacing will begin on Thursday, 9/21 on K Street and Giant Lane.

UPDATE, 9/11/2023: Milling and paving has concluded. Microsurfacing and UTBWC will begin in the coming weeks.

UPDATE, 9/6/2023: Due to the heat, parking on Pitt Street in the work area may not reopen until Thursday. The road should reopen to traffic Wednesday evening.

The 2023 Street Improvement Project is now underway. Road milling and paving will take place the week of September 5 through September 8. Crews will follow this tentative schedule:

Tuesday, September 5
Milling:

• North Pitt Street from West High to West Louther
• Walnut Street from South Hanover to South Pitt
• Walnut Street from South West to South College

Wednesday, September 6
Milling:

• Graham Street from South West to South College
• Mooreland Avenue from West South to Walnut
• Conway Street from West South to Wilson

Paving:

• North Pitt Street from West High to West Louther
• Walnut Street from South Hanover to South Pitt
• Walnut Street from South West to South College

Thursday, September 7
Milling:

• Wilson from Hillside Drive to Walnut Bottom

Paving:

• Graham Street from South West to South College
• Mooreland Avenue from West South to Walnut
• Conway Street from West South to Wilson

Friday, September 8
Paving:

• Wilson from Hillside Drive to Walnut Bottom
