How to Register for Programs
There are three main ways you can register for programs GO ONLINE, WALKIN IN or CALL IN. Pre-registration is required of most programs (unless indicated otherwise). Click ‘Register Online” to view all of our current programs and register online. Register Online-ActiveNet
Don’t Wait Until the Last Minute to Sign Up for a Program!
Too often quality activities are cancelled because too many people wait until the last minute to register. Almost every activity has a minimum number of participants needed to cover the expenses or to make it enjoyable (think team sports). If you see an activity you like, don’t hesitate, sign up today!
No News is Good News!
Once you have registered for a program, you will not hear from our office unless:
- There is a change in the time or day.
- Cancellation due to illness or inclement weather.
- The program has to be cancelled, due to insufficient registration.
To make sure you receive all class communication, please make sure to update your email on your account or your child's, if they are the participant. We also recommend agreeing to receive text messages in your account settings, to ensure that you receive any last minute class notifications.

Payment is required at the time of registration.
- We accept cash, checks (made payable to Carlisle Parks and Recreation), Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit cards.
- There are no fees or surcharges on cash or check transactions.
- Please be aware of the following ONLINE processing fees: for transactions less than $150 = 7.3163% + $0.50; for transactions between $150 and $499.99 = 3.942% + $.50; for transactions greater than $500 = 2.8173% + $10.00.
- Surcharges will apply to all in-person or telephone CREDIT CARD transactions at a rate of $0.25 + 3.5992% beginning April 1, 2022.
- Residents of the Carlisle Borough, including the Carlisle Barracks, receive a discount on recreation and pool fees. Proof of residency required.
- Non-resident are persons who live in a municipality other than the Borough of Carlisle.
- A list of Borough Streets is available to those who are unsure of their residency.
- Participation in our activities is at your own risk. We advise participants to carry their own accident/liability insurance.
I recognize and acknowledge that there are inherent risks of physical injury to participants and spectators in programs/leagues/events, and I voluntarily agree to assume all risks of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that my minor child, children or I may sustain as a result of said participation, including, without limitation (i) injuries arising from use of any equipment, property, or grounds while participating in the programs/leagues/events, (ii) injuries or medical disorders arising from participation in supervised or unsupervised programs/leagues/events, (iii) accidental injuries within or on any Carlisle Borough facilities, land, or road.
In consideration of me and/or my child or children being permitted to use Carlisle Borough park facilities, including, but not limited to park grounds, ball fields, pavilions, playground equipment, exercise equipment and walking trails, I acknowledge that I and my child or children may be in proximity to other persons or may touch objects or surfaces that may have been touched by other persons and because of that, I or we may be at risk for exposure to the COVID-19 virus and other communicable diseases or bacteria. I also acknowledge that Carlisle Borough cannot guarantee that I or my child or children will not be exposed to or become infected by COVID-19 or some other communicable disease or bacteria.
Being fully aware of those risks associated with me or us being at or using Carlisle Borough park facilities, I individually and on behalf of my child or children voluntarily assume all risks of illness and disease that may arise from my or our possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus and other communicable diseases and bacteria, and waive, release and discharge Carlisle Borough, its elected and appointed officials and employees from any and all claims, demands, causes of action or liability arising out of bodily injury, sickness, death, disease, medical harm, loss, illness, medical care or hospitalization sustained by me or by my child or children, it being my express intention to be fully responsible for the risks inherent in me and/or my child or children participating in any activity or being on or in Carlisle Borough facilities where other persons may be or have been.
I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Carlisle Borough, its elected and appointed officials and employees from any loss, liability, damage, claim or cost, including attorney’s fees that they or any of them may incur due to my entry and/or the entry of my child or children upon and all activity at Carlisle Borough park facilities.
I hereby grant permission to interview/photograph/record me or my child or children for use in promotional purposes.
I agree to follow and have my child or children follow all rules related to the use of the park facilities, including policies related to social distancing and personal hygiene to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
I HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNED THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE, INTENDING TO BE LEGALLY BOUND, AND IF I AM SIGNING THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE ALSO ON BEHALF OF A MINOR CHILD, I REPRESENT THAT I AM THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF THAT CHILD.
