2026 Street Improvement Project
The Borough annually maintains its roadway network through a program that uses a variety of road surface treatments based on a road segment’s physical condition and priority ranking. Treatments have ranged, in order of cost and treatment life, from crack sealing, base repair, microsurfacing, ultra-thin bonded wearing course application, and surface milling and repaving. Generally, milling and paving are performed at the end of the road’s surface pavement life, and the other repairs are interim maintenance activities to extend the life of the road.
The 2026 Street Improvement Project kicks off Monday, September 28. The schedule below is tentative and subject to change.
