Final Connectivity Project Phase Begins May 20

Work on the final phase of the Carlisle Connectivity Project is scheduled to begin next week.

Weather permitting, work will start on Monday, May 20 with water line work beginning near North Street. No road closures are currently planned, but look out for lane restrictions during the work. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.

The North Hanover Street component is the final phase of the Carlisle Connectivity Project and includes improvements to North Hanover Street, Carlisle Springs Road, and Fairground Avenue. The Carlisle Springs Road and North Hanover Street intersection will be realigned to bring the approach to a 90-degree angle. This intersection will also be signalized.

Further south will be a 5-point roundabout at the intersection of North Hanover Street, West and East Penn Streets, and Fairground Avenue. Travel through the roundabout will be in a counter-clockwise direction, similar to the roundabout constructed at North College and B Streets.

• Stormwater Management Features
• Other Utility Relocations
• Roadway Reconstruction/Complete Street Features
