Thursday's Borough Council meeting will begin with a presentation from Mr. James Burgess of the Carlisle Resilience Collaborative. The collaborative is a "multidisciplinary group of organizations and individuals committed to understanding the effects of early childhood trauma, creating a safe and supportive environment for community dialogue, and discovering solutions that inform and inspire a trauma-informed community."
Borough Council may approve a $35,000 shopsteading loan for Transformation Total Fitness. TTF is looking to expand and move downtown to 117 North Hanover Street. View a briefing of their loan request.
Also on Thursday, Borough Council will appoint residents to various boards & commissions, as well as vote on adopting a sanitary sewer project easement ordinance.
